Bright Coop Inc.'s Cage Straightener offers a fast, economical means for squaring live haul poultry cages. This specially-designed force application tool enables you to get longer life from cages that are warped or bent from being dropped or pushed off live haul trailers.

Bright's Cage Straightener is an effective tool for straightening warped or bent cages, but care should be taken in handling and positioning the 200-pound unit. Once the anvils are in position and force is being applied, persons using the Straightener should stand clear of the cage in the event an anvil is not securely positioned and slips off the cage tubing.

Weight:
200 pounds; 10-1/8" stroke with a 20,000-pound full force rating

Features:
Bright's Cage Straightener is equipped with three adapter anvils. The ram has a 10-1/8" stroke with a 20,000-pound full force rating and is powered by a hand-operated unit. Approximately 7,000 pounds force is required for straightening cages. Unit weighs approximately 200 pounds.

Application:
Cages are squared by applying the tool across the long diagonal of the deformed sides. If each side of the cube is squared (cage consists of 3 cubes), then the whole cage is squared.
* NOTE: Not every cage can be straightened. As with all equipment, extreme care should be exercised in operating the Cage Straightener. Operators should ensure that they are standing clear of the unit when force is applied.
