Designed specifically for the Poultry Industry, The Viking "Poultry Special" is the leader in Poultry Live Haul Trailers. Formed angles and nesting devices make cage placement safe and easy during loading and unloading. The 1/4" Formed angles provide a 4-3/4" air space between the cages for the constant movement of air in and around the cages. Front and rear headache racks provide added security for cage movement and 4x8 panels can be added to block direct wind during transport. Easy loading, easy cleaning, safely transporting more product from the farm.

Mainframe24" fabricated main beams with 3/8"x6" top and bottom flanges with 1/4" web. All flange and web material is high strength steel.
Crossmembers4" Jr. I-Beam (M4x3.2)Crossmembers with 1/4" formed angles on top of the main beams and siderails. Formed angles serve as a cage nesting device providing 4-3/4" air space between the cages.
Kingpin2" SAE King Pin x 3/8" king pin plate with a 36" king pin setting.
Tandem105" Tandem Setting from the rear of the trailer with 49" axle spacing. Optional settings are available.
SiderailsC6" x 8.2 lb. (Inverted) structural channel. 3/4" tie bar is welded underneath the side rail to the crossmembers for cage securement. Two nesting devices between each formed angle.

TiedownsThe Poultry Special Comes standard with 3/4" tie bar mentioned above. Winches can be located on the siderail to allow the use of 4" winch straps.
Rear BumperThe Poultry special comes standard with a DOT certified rear underride guard/bumper and height visibility reflective conspicuity tape.
FloorNONE wood floor, 10 GA. Steel is standard over the kingpin and tandem areas only. The entire trailer can be floored giving added protection and extended trailer life.
D-Rings(2) D-Rings are located at the rear of the trailer for emergency towing.
FinishPoultry Special Trailers are Shotblasted, primed with Carbozinc Zinc-Rich primer and painted with Carboline Urethane Paint. (Standard colors are White ,Red, Blue and Cat Yellow) (Optional Paint colors available)
